The series El Dragón de Gales was launched as a comparative project by the Spanish unity of the Romance Languages and Literatures Department of the University of Geneva. During ten years, the series convoked teachers and researchers of various disciplines of the Faculty, colleagues from other Centers and Institutes of the same University as well as from other Swiss and Spanish Universities, people from international organizations, poets and writers from the five continents, graphic artists, friends and acquaintances, to translate literary fragments in the multiplicity of languages that come across each other within the University and the city of Geneva. This article offers a brief history of this publication and develops some of its implications.
