Abstract

This paper shows a sociolinguistic study on the variation of the / -s / in implosive position in the speech of Granada. The corpus based on the analisis to be performed is Corpus PRESEEA-Granada (Moya coord. 2007-2009) established by preestratificación variables included in the proposed methodology of PRESEEA (sex, age and educational level), continue to carry out the methodology of variationist studies. Our objective is to show a detailed study of the /-s / in syllable distension in the high educational level of the city of Granada. As a result of our investigation we show the data obtained from the study of linguistic factors considered most relevant.
