The extreme fiction game in Los amantes de silicona (2008) is analysed departing from the artificial body motif in Sci Fi narrative and pornographic stories. Unlike fin-de-siècle literature, fascinated with the power of the artificial versus nature, this novel is a good example of hyperreal culture charmed by the “authentic falsity”. A culture marked by technological changes. A culture that drives us to sensual pleasures which eventually turn our body into an instrument of individual pleasure destroying the dimensions of desire, love feelings and social ties.
