Abstract

At the beginning of the 21st century and globalization the tradition of French as a universal expression language gets new sense and energy. This linguistic and literary migration has also been felt in Spain, where the word “afrancesamiento” (Francophilia) pushes this tradition aside since the 18th century. With the millennium change a whole generation of writers of Spanish origin goes on with a peculiar work in French which must be understood inside a wider littérature-monde (world literature written in French) movement.
