El acoso sexual en el ámbito académico. Una aproximación

Abstract

In this paper we will analyze the topic of sexual harassment in the academia in our country, making a comparison with the international research. Firstly, we define sexual harassment; we distinguished the sexual harassment from other types of violence and expose different types of it. Thus, we review studies grouping research among two groups, those that try to know the impact of this phenomenon and those that analyze perceptions of sexual harassment among students. Finally, we outline the work conclusions and propose some measures leading to educational institutions which offer a more efficient answer to sexual harassment in the classrooms.
