This work describes the creative process of rewriting the short story Babette’s Feast by Isak Dinesen into the dramatic work El festín de Babette, by Antonio Álamo. We point out the specific operations, intercalations and textual transpositions from the story into the play and, more particularly, the landscape piece and the voice-over as supports for this rewriting.
