This issue of Quaderns de Filologia. Estudis Literaris aims to point out the importance of the study of rewriting practices that characterise contemporary and nowadays literature, with a special emphasis on the analytical possibilities provided by concepts such as hypertextuality or intermediality. With different sources (from the biblical tradition to very recent creations), the works here analysed belong to the 20th and 21st centuries, including theatre plays and children’s literature.
