Abstract

In the context of multicultural contemporary Australian literature, this article reviews the work of Ania Walwicz, Australian poet of Polish origin.

By analysing several fragments of her poems, the author calls attention to the subversive use and disruption of language as a means to highlight the experience of migration and the resistance to hegemonic assimilation.
