To the annotated translation into Spanish of the Dialogo di un Fisico e di un Metafisico, considered by Mario Fubini to be the most important of the Operette morali, is added an introductory note by the translator, who focuses the reading in relation to the question of immanent immortality in connection with a certain contemporary neo-positivist drift, of which Leopard's text constitutes an effective critique.
