Abstract

 

This paper focuses on the controversial issue of equal opportunitities in the current education systems. The basic thesis of the article is that equal opportunities is to forgotten progressive educational policies and academic works, when we consider the inequality opportunities from the perspectiva of cultural inequality. This trend is also evident in the awareness and training of experts in education policy the teachers themselves. To support this position turn to the exposition and analysis of the results of a recent investigation that combined interviews with experts in eductaion, questionnaires and discusión groups for teachers in nursery, primary and secondary schools in the Canary Islands.
