Lupus (2002-2006) by Frederik Peeters is a peculiar science-fiction tale, which confuses this genre’s topics in comics, and consequently, the expectations of the majority of the french-belgium bande dessinée market’s readers. This study aims to analyse Peeters’narrative project in the work mentioned, his use of genre resources as expressive tools in order to develop it, and the peculiar graphic treatment that he gives to his narrative in order to asses the aesthetic importance of the title.
