Abstract

The text presents a critique of José Luis López Linares (2021) documentary, Spain: the world's first globalization. Based on the commentary on various aspects present in it, the characteristics of conservative historiographic revisionism of the Modern Age are analyzed. This is a warning about this way of understanding one of the richest and most interesting periods in the history of Spain, from the point of view of critical thinking.
