Abstract

The solitude of the translator has become a commonplace. Without any intention to argue about the advantages and disadvantages of this solitude, iwe cannot doubt that the literary translator (sometimes unwilling to translate) spends long hours sitting in front of a computer and can't stop thinking. To judge by the comments one reads on translation journals, their thoughts usually focus on their sad condition. Who am I? Where do I come from? Where do I go? What the hell am I doing here? Am I wasting my undisputable talent?
