The objective of this article is to describe and categorize the reflections on their own practices of a group of teachers of Natural Sciences at the secondary level in Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and the South Atlantic Islands. A workshop to develop didactic sequences was carried out for two months, within the framework of a community of practices. At the end of the workshop, an in-depth interview was applied to them. The results have shown a variety of reflections: initial training, working and family conditions and certain difficulties in getting out of their comfort zone. At the same time, they demand spaces for collective reflection among peers and with more expert teachers to be able to formulate their didactic proposals as well as to strengthen institutional work teams that allow the collective construction of teaching proposals committed to existing contexts.
